I’m now considering upgrading my flickr account though it is not really a bargain. It costs US $24.95 for a year’s subscription.
What I can get are
2 GB monthly upload limit
Unlimited storage
Unlimited bandwidth
Unlimited photosets
Permanent archiving of high-resolution original images
Ad-free browsing and sharing *
Seems not bad. Anyone who had tried the pro services of flickr pls give me some comments
I just want to simplify the photo uploading routine which will probably happen here everyday in the US. I’ve tried some other services like the biggest one in china http://photo.163.com. But is was not even comparable to the flickr and I cannot link reference to the pictures I uploaded there. They force the user to view pictures on through their site. Well, that is enough for me to avoid using their sevices. lol…

Hey! I’m glad to announce that I’d been to Korea.
Nov 27, 2005, I took the KE894 flight of Korean Airlines from Shanghai Pudong Airport to Seoul Incheon Airport. And I stayed in the Incheon Airport from 16:00 to 18:30 to transfer to the KE085 flight to New York JFK Airport.
I’ve uploaded some pictures from Flickr.
Here are the links. (Pity that flilckr has a 20MB limit for general users, so that I couldn’t upload all the pictured I’d taken.)

Wangjianshuo said he would go to attend the AD-Tech in Shanghai. Said that he had got the tickets although the topic was not really interesting for him. Wow, I never knew such a big international conference were held in Shanghai. I’m interested in marketing and advertising, wish I could go.
But unfortunately, the conference seemed only open for advertising professionals. And the entry fee costs hundreds of US dollars. Well it’s not for an amatuer like me. Looking at the number of the attendance which is only 30% (from wangjianshuo), it was not a big and successful conference in terms of their advertising itself.
And I also doubt their strategy of selective participants requirement. With the advent of the information technology, many people who were not pro of advertising became lead in this area very quickly. Current internet and IT-technology has all the relationship with advertising, and and I believe I can continue to grow and development and challenge the triditional advertising sphere greatly in the future.
I don’t think 30% of attendance means there are not many people interested in this topic. Actually many people from IT and other different industry, want to get more information in this kind of conference. And advertising pros can also benefit from different views and voices from IT and other industries.

From keso.cn, Yahoo! China used it new landing page this afternoon.
He said, “I got up, and got connected. When I opened the ‘cn.yahoo.com‘, I found I was transferred automatically to ‘www.yahoo.com.cn‘. It looks kinda very Chinese flavor, seemed no longer affliated with yahoo.com. However, the logo had been changed, which didn’t has the ‘China’ two characters (in Chinese).”

He thinks that the page looks much clean than before. More like the “Search Page” which is far different from the other Chinese ICPs. Ma Yun, the CEO of Alibaba.com expressed that “Yahoo is searching, searching is yahoo!”.
Keso also thinks that those client who are the middle and small sized the companies of Alibaba, are more likely to be the major target clients of “Google AdSense” or “BaiDu Bid Ads Sorting” services. ” Now yahoo has rebranded itself as a searching service provider to reimforce its image of a search engine service provider. They hoped to attract them back to advertising on Yahoo. ”
“The results of ‘Search-Engine’ driven marketing is closely determined by the number of the searching service users. Imagine if the user were still willing to search via Google or Baidu but only read entertainment news from Yahoo, the dream of making yahoo search the e-commerce engine wouldn’t have been realistic.”, by Keso.
BTW, I’ve also noticed that the YiSou search site which used to be a brand search site of Yahoo China also announced its end of the service and redirect its landing page to yahoo by a cute flash animation.

Today is the second day of the Chinese Blogger Conference. Currently Lu Xinxin is talking about the RSS.
Pity that I missed most part of the excellent presentation about Web 2.0 by horse from 10:00 to 11:00. Because I had to attend a conference call with our project team trying to dicuss an urgent issue in our client environment. 80 minutes of calling on my mobile phone, which was 32 RMB. oh, dear…
Hope that later of today sessions won’t be greatly affeted. (It is really cool that the Cnbloggercon WiFi is now fixed, probably I can complete the fixing job here in the conference room.)

Not sure if it was already too late for me to know the detail of this great event.
I found the logo and link to this event from CNBLOG.
If I had knew this earlier, I would like to offer some help. However, I hope that my registration letter can be accepted and I can attend this event anyway. Even there are no seats and no lunch, That’s no big deal for me.
Looking forward to know some more friends there and refresh my ideas of thinking about blogging and podcasting. ^_^
